Reading Renegades RFC

The Reading Renegades is an inclusive rugby club based in Reading, Berkshire UK. We provide specialist Rugby Provision to all members of our community regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation or background. We have been an established member of the International Gay Rugby (IGR) association and Berkshire Rugby Football Union (Berkshire RFU) since 2016 and pride ourselves in championing the values of both of these organisations under the umbrella of England Rugby.

We have significantly grown as a club over the past few years and now have over 60 members that have access to; specialist, bespoke touch and contact coaching and a plethora of opportunities to use their new found skills in a competitive context. Every member can also participate in a comprehensive social calendar to ensure all members feel fully-included within our community.

The Reading Renegades train twice weekly and the team of experienced, qualified coaches tailor the training to all of those who are training, whether you are an experienced rugby veteran to those members of our community that want a safe space to begin to understand Rugby. We have social members that attend training sessions for fitness and others who seek competitive game time. Underpinning all of this, our members come away from our training sessions, learning new skills, making new friends and hopefully looking forward to our next engaging training sessions

Off the pitch, The Reading Renegades provide an exciting social calendar to encourage our members to socialise outside of the club and form life-long friendships. We are well established as Reading Pride Ambassadors and are proactive in supporting community initiatives to make our community a better place.

We look forward to welcoming you to our team but more importantly, our rugby family.
